INFO

The following FAQ provides some more details on my services and how it all works.

Why should I choose you to design my website?

Good design and good service. My sites are clear, clean, and user-friendly. Not only will I create a quality website tailored to your needs, but I will do it on schedule and for a fair price, while also responding to your emails and answering your phone calls.

What can I do for you?

I can create anything from a basic web presence to a simple e-commerce site. I do both front-end layout and back-end (database) coding. I can also create related graphic design materials.

How would content be managed?

In most cases, your site would be based on a content management system (CMS) that would allow you to update the content yourself through a web-based interface, usually WordPress. In some cases where the content would change only rarely, I can manage the content for you. I can also host your site on my web server so that you don’t have to worry about it.

How would I make changes to the site in the future?

If I am hosting your site, I would probably make very small changes for free. For larger changes, I would either charge an hourly rate or give you a flat quote, depending on the scope.

I already have a website. Can you just fix it?

Yes. I can take over maintenance of an existing site and/or expand it with additional sections and features.

Do I need to learn a bunch of technical stuff to create a website?

No, I will take care of all that. If you do encounter any technical stuff, I will translate to make it easy for you.

What do you charge?

I will give you a quote based on your specific needs. My rates are always reasonable and I will not nickel and dime you. If I host and maintain your site, there is an annual maintenance charge that is also quite reasonable.

Will there be a contract?

Yes. This is needed primarily to describe the scope of work, layout payment terms, and establish ownership of the site so that our expectations are aligned.
